I grew up in a small town in central Illinois where there was one grocery store, a handful of restaurants, and as my wife, the Chicagoan that she is, jokes, the occasional tumbleweed. There was one blessed time of my life where I lived in Texas, but for the sake of time I cannot get started on that now. My grandfather, being a pastor, raised me from an early age to have a strong set of values centered around investing into people and building relationships with both them and God, but it was not until my early twenties that I really began to focus my life on God and his calling for me. This refocus and a handshake under a volleyball court is how I met my beautiful wife.

I never would have imagined that I would be a barber, but I have never felt more fulfilled in my career than when I began this journey. I never thought I would live this close to Chicago, but once my wife introduced my to deep dish pizza, it was a done deal. I’ve learned how to communicate about varies types of lifestyles, interests, and passions because of my environment being filled with diverse types of individuals. Because of this, I’ve found many of my current interests from my connections that I’ve built along the way. Ask anyone who knows me, I love to talk and glean knowledge from the wide variety of careers and life experiences that sit in my chair. Interests such as music, BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu), even barbering was only an interest at one point. As time went on I fell in love with these things and have grown into the man I am today. I’m blessed to have an amazing wife, who has definitely been my helpmate (and proofreader) throughout the journey of starting this business.
